In fact, students consistently represent approximately one-third of Winona’s official population (27,592). Winona State University
Founded in 1858, Winona State University (WSU) is a comprehensive public university with close to 8,900 students. As the oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System, Winona State offers 80:

Saint Mary’s University
Saint Mary’s offers undergraduate, graduate and professional programs at locations in Minnesota, Wisconsin and select programs in Jamaica and Kenya. At the Winona campus, the undergraduate College combines traditional liberal arts and sciences with career preparation in a student-centered environment. The Winona campus comprises 400 acres and 47 buildings, with excellent facilities for living, learning and recreation. The bachelor of arts program offers 60 majors.
