Lake Lodge
Lake Lodge Recreation Center is situated on East Lake Winona at the foot of Main Street. A variety of outdoor equipment is available to rent including ice skates, snowshoes, canoes, kayaks, longboards, bicycles, and stand-up paddleboards. All equipment must stay within Lake Park or East Lake Winona except snowshoes. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Indoor and accessible bathrooms are available.

Financial assistance is available for memberships. If you think you may qualify for assistance, please submit a Parks and Recreation Scholarship Application.
To purchase a membership, visit us online or purchase at the Lake Lodge when you come.
*Membership includes access to all Lake Lodge equipment. There is no charge for 4 and under, but still requires registration, signed waiver by a parent, and check-in.
East Recreation Center
Patrons must be at least 7 years old to attend the ERC without an adult.
Membership is free, but required. Participants will need to provide their current address, phone number, and emergency contact. Memberships can be made in person at the East Recreation Center.
All hours are subject to change without notification at any time.
The East End Recreation Center includes a large gym, with 2 basketball courts, and a large gaming and lounge room with seating, pool table, table tennis, craft tables, and toys. There are bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a studio room with full-length wall mirrors and a projector screen. The East Recreation Center block includes an outdoor park and a playground. The rec center has approximately: 60 folding chairs, 35 stackable chairs, 8-8’ tables, and 10-6’ tables. No alcohol is allowed in the East Recreation Center. Wi-Fi is available. Staffing is required for reservations. Capacity: Game Room 140, Gym 466, Studio Room 26.

Drop-in basketball ends 11/27 and will resume after basketball league.

*All adult drop-in activities require a $2.00 daily drop-in fee or $10.00 annual membership.
Bob Welch Aquatic Center
The Bob Welch Aquatic Center is a zero-depth, Olympic-sized pool with a 208-foot water slide, 2 diving boards, lap lanes, a large patio, large grass area, shade, and two playground structures. No alcohol is allowed. Choose to pay for a daily admission, 10-punch pass, or seasonal membership.

Monday- Friday:
Open swim - 12:30pm-6:00pm
Access to facility & grassy areas will be allowed after 12pm. Open swim will begin at 12:30pm.
Saturday & Sunday:
Open swim - 12:00pm-7:00pm
5 shareable lap lanes will available during open swim sessions.
At least 3 lap lanes will always be available during swim lessons for individuals interested in lap swim from 10am-1pm and 6pm-8pm. Other lanes may be used for learn to swim lesson programming.
2023 Admission Rates
All memberships and the punch card may be purchased online or in person at the BWAC or Parks and Recreation Office.
Individual Membership (per person): $50.00
Family Membership (up to 6 people residing in the same household): $155.00
Digital Punch Card: $37.00/10 punches
Daily Fees: $5.00/adults; $4.00/youth (4 and under free)

All swim lesson session will run M-TH & M-T. If makeups are needed due to weather, they will be held on Wednesday andThursday following the last day of class.
Courses we will be offering include: Parent & Child Aquatics, Pre-levels 1,2,3, Learn to Swim Levels 1-6, Adult swim and private lessons

Bud King Ice Arena
The Bud King Ice Arena is a multi-million dollar renovation project that was created through a partnership between the City of Winona and the Winona Area Youth Hockey Association (WAYHA). Under a management agreement between the two organizations, the City is responsible for maintaining and operating the facility and WAYHA is responsible for programming. This public/private partnership has produced a new indoor ice refrigeration system and outdoor ice rink that overlooks the beautiful Mississippi River.
