Community Center - Public Safety Building Project Public Input Form
Winona City Council will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, to gather public input on the proposed Community Center – Public Safety Building Project.
All interested persons may attend the meeting to speak on this proposal. Alternately, interested persons may submit their written comments prior to the hearing. All written comments may be submitted by completing this form by 4:00 p.m. June 29, 2022.
Architect Firm BKV Group conducted an assessment to locate the most appropriate solutions for a public safety facility to accommodate the City of Winona Fire and Police departments space requirements, while addressing long term facility needs, and the health and safety of the first responders. The process investigated current deficiencies, space requirements for the departments and options to accommodate those special requirements. All aspects of the study are supported by robust research and information that is reviewed and vetted out with the Public Safety Committee.
