[ARCHIVED] Lake Park Drive-In Music & Movies Series

Lake Park Drive

Treedome and WINONArts are excited to announce the return of the outdoor, socially distanced eight-part series of events “Lake Park Drive-In: Music and Movies” set to take place all summer long with outdoor live music concerts and feature film screenings at the Lake Park Bandshell. With a combination of vehicle spots and socially distanced outdoor seating, “Lake Park Drive-In” is bringing outdoor accessible family events back to Winona.

Seating is split into two categories: vehicle drive-in and benches for groups of one-to-six. All spots are limited and reservations are required. Masks are still required for all non-vehicle seating, and personal hand sanitizer or hand wipes are recommended.

Reservations can be made at http://lakeparkdrivein.eventbrite.com, or call 507-398-5424 with a name and preferred seating option.

Spots are free, but donations are accepted online to keep the program going into the future. $10 suggested per person, or $20 per vehicle.

Movies

“This event was a big success with only four showings last year. We are excited to bring back this program with an expanded lineup of musicians and movies that will last all summer long,” said Maggie Panetta, Production Director of Treedome.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Additional support provided by SEMAC, Merchants Bank, and Winona Parks and Recreation (City of Winona).
