[ARCHIVED] Summer Reading Program Begins June 7th

Summer Read

June 7th-August 13th

Beginning on June 7, join the Winona Public Library for a summer of adventure to maintain your excellent reading skills over the summer months! Our free program rewards children and young adults who read daily on their own time. For every 100 minutes of reading completed, you earn a prize! There are 5 prize levels total.

Readers have a choice to track their time on a traditional paper log OR the Reader Zone digital log. If picking up a paper log, you can pre-register at https://winona.readingrecord.net/ and pick up your log at the Youth Services desk in the Art Room on the second floor. Prizes will be distributed during scheduled browsing appointments or during the week of August 9 through 13. If you’d like to use the Reader Zone software, please follow the instructions below.

Reader Zone – Reading Log Software

While paper logs are available this summer, we are also offering the option to use a digital log instead. We will again be using a website called Reader Zone. It is very simple to use, and includes a lot of great features, such as a reading timer and badges for each completed level. Caregivers can register more than one child on one account so the family can track together. Anything logged prior to June 7th does not count towards the program. Our unique summer reading code is c3f8f.

If you do not have a tablet, you can still use this software. Simply visit ReaderZone.com and click “Sign Up.”
