On Tuesday, September 6, 2022 Officers Doug Inglett, Anthony Wurst and Wade Anderson were ceremoniously recognized for their promotions during a pining ceremony at the Law Enforcement Center. Doug Inglett has served on the department since 2014 and was promoted on June 25th. Anthony Wurst has served the department since 2012 and was promoted on July 23rd . Wade Anderson has served on the department since 2014 and was promoted September 3rd.

On Thursday, September 8, 2022 the City welcomed three new police officers to the department during a pinning ceremony at City Hall. Sam Perrella was previously an officer with the City of Goodview police department, Nick Erickson recently received certification to become a police officer in Minnesota, and Sarah Blankenburg previously served as an officer with the City of Fridley and the City of Le Seuer.
During the pinning ceremony Police Chief Tom Williams expressed gratitude for the time and effort of numerous City employees who were instrumental in the promotion and hiring processes. The Chief also thanked the candidates and their families for supporting the law enforcement profession.
