[ARCHIVED] Route Changes for the Winona Transit Service

The Winona Transit Service will be implementing a route change on Monday, November 7, 2022.  The current bus stop on the south side of Sarnia Street located in between Franklin and Hamilton Streets is being eliminated.   Riders can either request the bus stop at the Hamilton Street intersection and use the existing pedestrian crosswalk, or they can ride to Menard Road and stay on Yellow Route and use the bus stop on the north side of Sarnia Street.

The days and hours of service for all of the Winona Transit routes will remain the same.  (Monday through Friday, 6 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm.)  The Dial A Ride service is available Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Call the Winona Transit dispatch at 454-6666 for more information or to schedule a ride.

An updated route map is available online at as well as at the City Clerk’s Office.  For further information, contact the Winona City Clerk’s office at 457-8200.
