Facilities

Aghaming Park is located on Latsch Island, directly across the main channel from Winona. It is a strip of wild bottomland on the north side of the island. 

Aghaming Park and Preserve contains over 1,950 acres of some of the best-preserved floodplain forest in the country.  The park preserve also is an excellent site for birdwatching, along the Mississippi flyway - the largest migratory route in the United States. 

The flyway trail runs adjacent to the park preserve. The park is managed in partnership with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. For more information, visit the US Fish and Wildlife Website.
